2) apostate (noun) A rarely used word, an apostate is a disloyal person who betrays or deserts his cause or religion or political party or friend.
3) apple (noun)A bad apple sometimes stands for a person, a group or a community which is harmful to the society.
4) agitate (verb) As a young man, he had agitated against the flesh-and-blood Vietnam war.
5) alarming (adjective) There has been an alarming rise in the rate of inflation.
6) adsorb (verb) In code climates, houses need have walls that will absorb heat.
7) atomic (adjective) Atomic energy science change the life of human being.
8) ablation (noun) His mather has a surgery on ablation, one of her kidney was detected cancerated. [explanation from dictionary.com ->the removal, esp. of organs, abnormal growths, or harmful substances, from the body by mechanical means, as by surgery.]
9) average (adjective) The quality of candidates was well above average.
10) awful (adjective) I don't know an awful lot about art, but I am learning.

A nuclear reaction is often call an atomic pile.

Ablation surgery is a delicate proceed to remove dangerous or excessive tissue.

My test scores in school were well above the average.
10) awful (adjective) I don't know an awful lot about art, but I am learning.
Unripe fruit tastes awful.
